Due to the fact there were no provisions in place if wet weather interfered with the outcome of the Twenty20 finals, and with no weekends available for postponing the games in the future, the Cowra and District Cricket Association's executive committee has decided to award the premierships to each of the competition's respective leading sides.

No cricket was played on turf wickets on the weekend, therefore the Young Coyotes were automatically gifted the 2015-16 Doug Wright Shield, while minor premiers in second grade Morongla were awarded the Matt Morrison Shield after the decider was abandoned in the late afternoon.
Morongla had posted 97 at Raudonikas Oval and Bowling Club were travelling nicely at 1-57 off 10 overs when rain forced the match to end early.
Both side's negotiated their semi finals earlier in the day spelling the end to Canowindra and Grenfell's hopes.
But Morongla, being minor premiers, were crowned this season's victors after the association's executive committee met on Sunday.
Originally president Greg Nicholls had hoped to postpone the finals to a date later this month but he said there were no suitable weekends.
"The option of playing the Doug Wright Shield finals and the Matt Morrison Memorial Shield final on a Sunday were discussed," Nicholls said.
"When these competitions were established no provisions in the rules were made for wet weather such as Duckworth Lewis, minimum overs or replay.
"As a result it was decided that the Coyotes will be awarded the Doug Wright Shield and Morongla the Matt Morrison Memorial Shield."
The Young Coyotes have now won the Doug Wright Shield on its two occasions since joining the Cowra and District Association and are still yet to drop a match in the game's shortest form.
Coyotes batsman Ben Allen said it wasn't an ideal way to win a premiership but he added his side were prepared for a strong push at the title.
"We had a strong side ready to go and we were confident we could defend the title," Allen said.
"We have a few blokes that don't have a lot of patience and like to play aggressive. It suits us.
"It would of been good to actually play. It's not exactly how you want to win but I guess it's hard to find a weekend that suits every team when there isn't a reserve date set. We would of much preferred to play."
It's the third successive piece of silverware the Coyotes have won after prevailing in both the Doug Wright Shield and Sportspower Cup during the 2014-2015 season.
Allen said focus now turns to fielding a consistent side for the 40-over competition resuming on Saturday.
"We're trying to get our full strength team together, I think we're yet to field it so far this season.
"Hopefully we can over the next few weeks and build some momentum."
