Anti-social behaviour under investigation
CRIMINAL infringement notices will be issued to a group of locals responsible for anti-social behaviour in the town’s CBD on Thursday night.
According to police, three men had been drinking at a local hotel, leaving around 8.40pm on Wednesday night.
They proceeded down Boorowa Street, yelling, swearing and kicking out at parked cars and shop windows.
The activity was witnessed by a number of people in the street.
When they reached the town taxi rank in Main Street, one of the men was seen to urinate in a garbage bin before the trio made their way back to Lynch Street.
As they passed a pharmacy, one man is alleged to have smashed a window before the trio started running towards another hotel, where they entered a bottle shop.
As they left that hotel, police apprehended them and were subjected to some abuse.
Police issued a move on direction to the men.
Investigations are continuing into the incidents in the main street, with CCTV footage currently under review.

Tractor, tools lost in shed fire
POLICE say there was nothing suspicious about a fire which broke out on a property near Bribbaree last week.
Around 8.45pm on Tuesday, the resident of the farming property became aware of the fire when the power to his house started to flicker.
When he looked outside he noticed a red glow and smoke emitting from a nearby work shed.
With two fire tankers already on site, the resident and his son were able to quickly reduce the spread of the fire but the damage was significant with a tractor and large number of tools destroyed.
