Rep footy consisting of all age groups, including girls, starts next Saturday, April 16.
Remember that town competition is played this Saturday morning, April 9. This will be our first town comp round so it will be good to have it as a stand-alone round before the hussle and bustle of rep footy next week.
For those new to the club we play the Saturday morning town competition at 8.30am and 9.10am when we have home games, followed by rep footy for the Cherrypickers from 10am.
Rep footy includes all ages where your child can represent the famous red, white and blue jersey while playing with the friends he has played against in the town comp. We encourage all kids to play for Young against the other towns in the region.
On weeks where we travel to another town, we play the town competition on Friday evening at 6pm and 6.40pm. The Friday game allows time to travel and play away on the Saturday mornings.
Game times for this Saturday morning are as follows:
Under 7s
8.30am Sharks versus Eels.
8.50am Sharks versus Broncos.
9.10am Broncos versus Eels.
Under 7s will be split back to four teams in two weeks when town competition returns.
Under 9s
8.30am Warriors versus Souths.
9.10am Manly versus Storm.
Under 11s
8.30am Tigers versus Knights.
9.10am Bulldogs versus Roosters.
Next week, April 16 is a bye for the town competition due to the first week of school holidays while we will travel to Junee for rep.
