THREE late goals helped Tolland to a convincing 7-1 victory over Young in the Football Wagga clash at Kessler Park on Sunday.

The game may have shaped as a mismatch on ladder positions but Young pushed the Wolves to the limit.
Tolland led 2-0 at half-time and it was only courtesy of three late goals that saw the scoreline blow out.
Tolland coach Dave Antill gave credit to Young.
“It was closer than the score indicated,” Antill said.
The win pushes Tolland into top spot on the Pascoe Cup ladder after four rounds.
Meanwhile in women’s soccer Young overcame South Wagga 3-nil to record their first win of the season.
The Lions were strengthened by the return of key players Patty Dawe and Jemma Long, who got the ball moving through the midfield into the forward line.
Goals were scored by Dawe, Tammi Brewer and Cass Edwards.
Coach Rod Remke was pleased with the team’s performance.
“I’m really happy with the outcome,” he said.
“It was a really good effort all round, everyone played really well.”
Standout players on Sunday were Tessa Long in centre back, Dawe in defencive midfield, and Long as striker.
Maggie Davis also earned praise for her versatility as goalkeeper, before moving into the midfield.
