On the eve of his 88th birthday, he was treated much like a celebrity at Gilbert’s Book Store as he posed for dozens of photos and readied himself to sign the 250 printed copies available at the launch.
Max couldn’t have been more thrilled with how the event took place.
The book is written by Richard Begbie and documents the life of Max who is held in the highest regard for his horse handling abilities.
