SELECTION: Former Saint Sam Herzich has been named in the AFL Canberra Division Three representative side to play South Coast on Saturday at Merimbula. Herzich is in his first season with the Blues, and has impressed everyone in the Blues camp for his speed and ball sense. The Saint is no stranger to representative football having previously played for Central West against Northern Riverina. The South Coast competition is Illawarra based, with five of the eight clubs coming from Wollongong.  The match at Berrambool Oval in Merimbula commences at 2.15pm. Herzich (second from right) is pictured with Cootamundra players Joel Pearson, Stephen Chant and Chris Drum.  (sub)

ON SATURDAY the Saints hosted the Bathurst Rebels in both First Grade and the Under 18s, and the Cowra Blues in the women’s league in a round that saw Young perform above expectations.
