It appears that under a Coalition State Government we are to experience dictatorship with the appointment of an administrator, namely Wendy Tuckerman, for the increased local government area known as Hilltops Council.

Just to rub salt into the wound, we are supposedly subject to a rate increase of up to 4.5%, whereas per Mr Wallace, the previous Young councillors proposed a 1.8% increase only.
Also, the acting councillors were chosen for us not by us.
As a former councillor on the Burrangong Shire Council, before its amalgamation with the Young Municipal Council, I can say that even then we were subject to dictatorship from Sydney.
In particular, as a council we submitted a proposal to seal five miles of the Temora Road one year and five miles of the Boorowa Road the following year.
The response was “If you start on the Temora Road, you finish before funds are available for the Boorowa Road.
So nothing has changed.
Life goes on and decisions are made irrespective of local preference.
Sincerely,
Noel Brooke-Kelly

Bill Shorten claims Labor will put people first.
However, he has refused to hold a plebiscite to hear the people's voice regarding marriage.
Mr Shorten’s deputy Tanya Plibersek has said they ‘will decide what is best’.
Federal Labor will extend the undiluted safe schools program across all schools nationwide despite parents outrage.
This is the ‘speak’ of dictators, not politicians who seek election to serve the people.
The Coalition has said all controversial material will be removed.
The founders of the ALP would not recognise Shorten’s Labor.
