Ms Hodginson's office move follows Yass becoming part of the Goulburn electorate prior to last year’s election.
For 16 years Ms Hodgkinson was charged with looking after Burrinjuck.
"My electorate office has moved to Young and will continue to service constituents," Ms Hodgkinson said.
“I would like to thank the community for their patience while the office was closed during this massive undertaking.
“It took parliament 12 months to approve an office space as a lot has to be taken into consideration.
“There has to be no differences between a country office and a city office, but after I nominated 10 different locations, they finally approved this one which I am very happy about.
“After a 100km move involving several truck loads, and a large skip with lots of memories left in Yass, we are now here in Young.
“It is a fresh start for the Cootamundra electoral office.
“I would like to thank the local builders who did a fantastic job on the fit out, the landlords who have been great, and my new neighbours who have been very welcoming and patient,” she said.
The move is not all good news for Katrina as long-time team members Margot Shannon and Rowena Weir will be leaving the office.
“Margot and Rowena have been a tower of strength in the office for a long time,” Katrina added.
“Casual staffer Meagan Medway is also leaving.
“They will be missed, but we welcome Frances Crowley who will take on the senior role.
“Jenny Littlejohn and Gaenor Bingley will continue to jobshare.
“I encourage the community to drop into the office and meet the team,” she said.
The electoral office will be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
