That has been the biggest clue yet to come out of the Brisbane CBD set, which will continue to cause traffic disruption this week.
Of course, having New York scenes in a Marvel movie is not much of a spoiler and plot points for Thor: Ragnarok are a jealously guarded secret among the cast and crew that have called south-east Queensland home for the past few months.
And, from all accounts, the vast majority of the movie would be set well away from Earth, in Asgard and other interstellar locations.
While there was no sign of Thor himself, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, as preparations for filming in Brisbane continued on Sunday, the vehicular props had arrived ahead of the shoot.
Parked along Margaret Street were a group of New York's famous yellow taxis (albeit with Australian-style right-hand drive), a yellow school bus and a US-style ambulance, this one with a left-hand drive.
The intersection of Margaret and Albert streets, too, was undergoing a transformation as workers installed yellow casings around the pedestrian lights, as per New York guidelines.
In a letter to businesses and residents in the area, film location manager Duncan Jones pleaded for patience as the multimillion dollar production was filmed in their neighbourhood.
"Whilst we will make every effort to reduce disruption, please anticipate short delays due to traffic detours and traffic and pedestrian hold and releases," he said.
"These delays are necessary to maintain public safety throughout filming, and we kindly ask for your patience.
"To you, the people of Brisbane, we are grateful for your understanding and support.
"We know there will be delays whilst we bring the magic of Hollywood to your streets, and will make every effort to minimise disruption.
"This is a unique experience for us all and we look forward to showing the world how wonderful you and your beautiful city is."
Due for release in November 2017, Thor: Ragnarok will be the 17th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which started in 2008 with Iron Man.
Ahead of its release will be Doctor Strange (November 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (May 2017) and Spider-Man: Homecoming (July 2017).
And for those who cannot wait for the next cinematic instalment of the MCU, Netflix will debut its series Luke Cage on September 30.
Along with Hemsworth, Thor: Ragnarok will star Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as the villainous Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela and Idris Elba as Heimdall.
The listed road closures in Brisbane for the filming of Thor: Ragnarok are:
- Mary Street: Three-lane closure, Albert to Edward - 4am Saturday to 4am Friday (Two-lane closure from August 15 to 20).
- Albert Street: Charlotte to Alice - 4pm Sunday to 11pm Monday. Charlotte to Mary - 11pm Monday to 11pm Thursday.
- Margaret Street: George to Edward - 4pm Sunday to 11pm Monday. (Pacific Motorway off-ramp to Margaret Street closed 3am to 11pm Monday).
