During the first four days of September the Bureau of Meterology recorded 79mm of rain at Mudgee airport, causing the horse races at the Pink Race Day to be cancelled.
Roads were closed around Bathurst where 42.6mm has been recorded by the bureau in the first four days of the month.
In Dubbo the Macquarie River once again flooded, though the water peaked just below the Emile Seriser Bridge for the second time in less than two months. The Bureau of Meterology recorded 59.6mm at Dubbo airport.
Water levels were also high in Forbes and Parkes forcing road closures on Friday and over the weekend.
In Forbes 39.2mm of rain was recorded while in Parkes 64.8mm was recorded.
In the first four days of the month the Bureau of Meterology has recorded 23mm of rain at Nyngan and 38.2mm of rain in Cowra. According to the bureau Orange had 42.8mm of rain on September 1 and 2.
