As of Wednesday at 9.30am the Hilltops Council advised Young residents via their website that the local road network was still enduring a number of road closures.
These include the Murringo Stock Route (between the Olympic Highway and Murringo), Milvale (Temora) Road (local traffic only, no heavy vehicles), Nile Mile Gap Road, Scenic Road (North) and Belowra Road (open with cautions).
Meanwhile major state road updates – such as for the A41 Olympic Hwy, B81 Lachlan Valley Way, B91 Burley Griffin Way – can be monitored on the RMS Live Traffic Website
“There have been warnings issued by the BOM, so pay attention and keep an eye out on council websites where we will provide updates if the situation changes,” communications manager, David Newberry, said.
