Albeit a soggy scratch, for the long weekend tournaments. On Saturday, the three-person Ambrose in honour of Vera was contested.
Winners
The winners were Chris Eaton, Mick McDonell and Nareda Leary with a nett score of 39.
Runners up were Mark Collins, Carol Windsor and Andy Connelly with a near miss at 39 and a half.
Accuracy on the par threes was executed by Nicki, Carol, Mick, Phil, Andy and Mark Collins.
On Sunday, members and visitors competed for the annual Clover Leigh Cup.
Due to the new course layout, a two-person Ambrose was played in lieu of the traditional 4BBB.

The winners were Col Freck and Andy Connelly with a nett score of 42 and a quarter.
Runners up were Chris Eaton and George Gerrard with a nett score of 44 and a quarter.
We won’t mention that these gentlemen all played in the same group.

At this time, the course will be closed again next weekend and provisionally for the remainder of October.
