The Quandialla Progress Association will be hosting a Flood–buster variety concert and Talent Quest afternoon/ evening on Saturday, October 29, 2016.

The concert will be held between 4pm – 9pm at the Quandialla Memorial Hall.

The purpose of the event is to provide an evening of fun and laughter to local and extended communities throughout the Weddin Shire and surrounds.

It is especially aimed at those affected by recent widespread flooding that has inundated the region over the past two months.

Progress Association members are seeking acts to provide entertainment for the concert such as comedy, acting, singing, poetry recitals or anything of a humorous nature, acts should last around 3-5 minutes.

Sponsorship has been provided with more being sought.

All sponsorship provided will be used to provide prizes for the winners of the Talent Quest.

A sausage sizzle will be in operation as part of the event.

Grenfell Lions Club will provide a Jumping Castle and other children’s entertainment is also currently being sought.
