WIRES CEO Leanne Taylor said that from now until late January, WIRES volunteers will be feeding hundreds of young native animals to ensure their survival. WIRES volunteers care for the animals until they are mature enough to be released.
“Our organisation relies almost entirely on public funding and the general public continue to be tremendously supportive of our work rescuing native species,” Taylor said.
Donations to the WIRES Food Fund Appeal go directly to food and milk purchases. Donations over $2 are fully tax deductible and can be made by visiting foodfund.org.au
