A man has been charged after allegedly deliberately driving his car into his neighbour during a heated argument on Sydney's northern beaches.

The 42-year-old will face court on Tuesday charged over the dispute outside the apartment block in Freshwater that left his 53-year-old neighbour in hospital with broken bones.
Police say the two men were arguing in the car park of their apartment block on Wyadra Avenue about 3.30pm on Monday, when the younger man got into his vehicle and drove at his neighbour.
The vehicle allegedly hit the older man, causing him to fall onto the bonnet and smash the windscreen.
The man suffered multiple fractures and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he remained in a stable condition on Tuesday morning.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said it was not immediately clear what the men allegedly were arguing about.
Police arrested the alleged driver at the scene and took him to Manly Hospital for mandatory testing. He was then taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Manly Local Court on Tuesday.
