As every film actor in Hollywood signs up for a television series, it seems the transition between neighbourhoods has been slow for Geena Davis. The 60-year-old star of Beetlejuice, Thelma & Louise and A League of Their Own, who is also a campaigner for the positive portrayal of women in the media, concedes she sets a high bar for the kind of roles she is willing to take.
