A full list of successful projects can be found on the Hilltops Council website. It has been a long but very rewarding process and Council is really encouraged with the level of engagement that has been shown by our community organisations.
On Friday, Minister for Local Government, Paul Toole and Member for Cootamundra, Katrina Hodgkinson presented cheques to five of our very worthy organisations. Further opportunities for our elected representatives to meet with more of the successful organisations will be announced shortly.
Funding agreements will be sent out next week to each successful applicant, and these agreements will detail the process to be followed in regards to the transfer of funds, project commencement and project management.
All enquiries in regards to grants and applications are to be directed to Council’s Special Projects Officer, Leanne Leihn.
For those organisations that were not successful, please note that Council will be considering your proposals for future funding initiatives and sincerely thanks you for providing information to Council that will be fed into future project planning and the new Community Strategic Plan.
The entire region should be proud of their organisations, community groups and volunteers for the hard work and dedication that they have shown to the future of the Hilltops region. The communities as a whole, and residents within will benefit from the wonderful projects that will soon be underway.
