Each year the Young Bridge Club hosts a competition weekend which attracts visitors from various places in NSW. This event is catered for by several volunteers under the guidance of Annie Snodgrass and Lil Westmacott with the funds raised being donated to Margaret House and Riding for the Disabled (RDA) NSW.

RDA in Young is wholly run by a small group of dedicated volunteers who ensure children and adults with a disability have an opportunity to experience riding and driving a carriage horse. The group gathers every Tuesday during the school term to learn skills, have fun and gain confidence as they develop a range of equine skills.
Keeping the horses attracts considerable costs such as veterinary fees, farrier fees and feed. The very welcome donation from the Young Bridge Club will enable the RDA team to purchase feed for the specially trained horses used by the participants in the program.
