While rumours of the pair's romance have circulated for weeks after several sightings of the rapper and singer together, not to mention Rihanna tactically unfollowing both her ex-flame and Lopez over the Christmas weekend, the intimate robe photo seems to have been enough proof to send fans into a frenzy.

While both parties are yet to confirm or deny their relationship status, the pair haven't been shy about fuelling rumours.

The pair have spent an awful lot of time together dining in West Hollywood over the past few weeks, and Drake has attended J-Lo's Vegas residency multiple times, back-to-back.

After one of the shows, J-Lo posted a photo with the caption, "Look who rolled up to my show tonight to say hi!! #LoveHim." Drake shared the love with the same picture and a a heart eyed emoji caption.

Rumoured to have been linked most recently with Taylor Swift, Drake's hotline has definitely been blinging in 2016, most notably with Rihanna, who he publicly professed his love for at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

But the love that Drake declared for the Work singer during his speech as her presented her with the VMA's Vanguard Award seems to have fizzled out, leaving the matching shark tattoos the pair shared as the only remnants of their relationship.

In October, Lopez confirmed she had ended her four-year relationship with backing dancer Casper Smart.
