Arabella Jennifer Hawkins was born on Tuesday to the couple, who chronicled Emma's pregnancy through her social media channels.

Mrs Hawkins, one of the leading WAGs on the circuit, fittingly posted a photo of their bundle of joy on Instagram on Friday evening.

"Our hearts are exploding with love for our beautiful baby girl. The three of us have been in our own little world enjoying this precious time and are loving every minute of it," Mrs Hawkins wrote.

Among the well-wishers who commented on the post were Jessie Habermann, who last week married Carlton skipper Marc Murphy, jewellery designer Samantha Willis, who is a Yellowglen ambassador along with Mrs Hawkins, radio host Em Rusciano and The Footy Show co-host Rebecca Maddern.

The couple chose the middle name Jennifer after Hawkins' late mother, who died after a six-month battle with cancer during round three of the 2015 AFL season.

Hawkins returned to the field the following round, saying his mother would have wanted him to play.

Hawkins and Emma married in March 2016 but the wedding was plagued with drama when the new Mrs Hawkins' car was stolen with her wedding dresses inside. She later got the dresses back after a police investigation.

During her pregnancy, Mrs Hawkins several photos of her bump, including one of her full-term bump posted two weeks ago.

The couple live on a property just outside of Geelong, where they have cattle and guinea fowl. All documented on Instagram, natch.
