But Sam Barsky wants to wool the world.
The American has gone to extraordinary levels to capture his many sojourns over the years.
A native of Baltimore, Mr Barsky actually hand-knits sweaters of famous landmarks and monuments from around the world and then takes a happy snap of his handy work in front of them.
The end result is hilarious.
He has knitted more than 100 jumpers, featuring places like Stonehenge, Times Square, Niagara Falls and The Golden Gate Bridge.
Some of his crafty work features places that defy explanation, like a shark tank inside an aquarium, a winding road and a field of pumpkins from who knows where.
It's not surprising his Facebook page Artistic Knitting of Sam Barksy is slowly gathering a cult following.
Mr Barsky told news website Mashable he made his first sweater way back in 2000 as an "experiment" before it became a hobby.
"I've been knitting sweaters like that one after another, featuring either generic scenery or specific landmarks," he said.
"Anything that crosses my eyes is a potential sweater.
"The two most recent ones I did, the Bahai Gardens and the Dead Sea, were made for a trip I took in December to Israel."
The internet-knitting superstar said he never initially planned to take snaps of himself in front of the landmarks with a matching jumper.
"To this day, I have pictures while wearing 91 of the 103 sweaters around the exact landmark or style of scenery or something quite similar," he told Mashable.'
"I have a goal of doing this for all of them, though most of the remaining ones will require travel to other continents."
And Mr Barsky is already sharpening the knitting needles for his next creations.
He is planning to knit a picture of civil rights leader Martin Luther King and the fictional animated R&B group The California Raisins.
"I'm hoping to have both done by the end of the week," he said.
"The raisin sweater is for a dance at the end of the week in which the theme is 'California Raisins' and the MLK sweater is for the upcoming holiday."
