Young Pony Club will be holding a sign up day on Sunday, January 22 from 10am - 2pm. Any existing members or potential new members are invited by the club to come and find out all that the club can offer at the Pony Club grounds clubhouse which can be found at the back of the showground. Anyone interested in becoming a member that can’t make it on the day are asked to contact Young Pony Club’s Facebook page.

The Young Pony Club’s first rally for the year will be on February 5 at the Young Pony Club Grounds.
Gear check will be held at 8.30 am with a prompt 9 am start. Lunch will be at 12 pm and then riders are asked to be mounted up and ready to go at 1 pm for a 2 - 3 pm finish.
Pony Club is a great way for riders up to the age of 25 to learn and gain confidence on horseback in all disciplines and aspects of horse care and maintenance.
Young Pony Club offers several disciplines within it’s facility including Cross-country, dressage and showjumping. They also cater for children wanting to earn their certificates and riders without horses. Integral and horse basics are available for riders of all levels.
The Young Pony Club’s annual Pony Camp is a favourite among children not only in the Young area but interstate as well with children travelling from all over to attend. Camping out and learning about all aspects of horsemanship it is a great way for kids to fully embrace their love of all things equine.
With polo cross, mounted games, horse soccer, trail rides and sporting events there really is something to cater to every rider of all experience levels.
Gymkhanas, One Day Events, Dressage, Showjumping, Mounted Games and Sporting competitions are held regularly around the Zone as well as inter-zone and zone championships.
