He will be visiting as part of the Australia Day Ambassador Program.
Mr Georgiadis is a landscape architect who has an all-consuming passion for plants and people.
“I know how to bring out the best in both plants and people and I take great pleasure in bringing them together,” he said.
“I believe in embracing and celebrating Mother Nature’s cycles and seasons and nurturing her balance, beauty and bounty organically, my holistic approach is all about gardening the soil and the soul.”
Mr Georgiadis said food and food security are two things he is passionate about.
He is involved with Regenerative Agriculture and the holistic practices that are being nurtured to deal with the issues of a rapidly urbanising world.
“I am actively involved with delivering this message to the broader community at primary schools, high schools, TAFE Colleges and Universities,” he said.
“I will take the message of a permanent self-sustaining culture to any audience.”
Mr Georgiadis is a particularly comfortable and captivating public speaker.
His speech in Young on Australia Day promises to be engaging and highly entertaining.
Hilltops Council administrator Wendy Tuckerman said she is very excited to welcome Mr Georgiadis to Young.
“It will be good to have him here and to show him how the locals like to celebrate our national day,” she said.
“Australia Day is an opportunity for our community to come together in the spirit of friendship and harmony, showcasing the unique and diverse culture that makes us Australian.
“I want to encourage everyone from the Young community to come down to Carrington Park and be part of our special celebrations this Australia Day.”

Ms Tuckerman said the council is calling upon locals to upload a photo of their celebrations to their social media channels using the hashtag #AusDay.
