Seminar speaker and Sydney based specialist Marianne Mullally said 10 – 15 percent of children in the local area are being diagnosed with Dyslexia. Ms Mullally aims to share her knowledge and advice to help children in Young. The seminar is aimed at mums, dads, teachers and community workers.
“Many people go undiagnosed, struggle with literacy at school and then continue to struggle in later life,” Ms Mullally said.
“Country mums have inspired me to do this because they are very capable of helping their struggling child.”
Another speaker during the seminar will be Tom Mullally a Dyslexia sufferer who will share his experiences on how he overcame his struggles to become a social media marketing success.
The free seminar will be held at Young Services Club on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 1 pm. To register online go to http://www.dyslexia.com.au/register.
