For eight bowlers there was some very serious practice to prepare for the next Pennant game on Tuesday February 21 against the combined Boorowa/Grenfell team to be played at Young.
The one game of fours was the Pennant teams – Pat Owen, Ann Gardner, Sheila Traynor and Judy Watson 13 played Jenny Holt, Jill Rosen, Margaret Glasheen and Julie Alavoine 14.
One game of triples – Eileen Blain, Heather Bailey and Therese Ruhl 17 played Robyn Tierney, Judith Mulligan and Margaret Gailey 19.
The second game of triples had a swinging lead - Honor Stollery, Zita Farrell and Kate Cooper 18 played Honor Stollery, Marlene Shea and Mary Bennett 11.
Sympathy for a loss
All the members of the Young Women’s Bowling Club express their deepest sympathy to Pat Rogerson for the recent loss of her loved son Steven Rogerson.
Steven died suddenly of a seizure and the funeral will be held 11 am Monday 20/2/2017 at the graveside.
