Swimmers learn from the experts
Last Saturday Young Swimming Club members attended a coaching session hosted by Les Barclay from the Telopea Club in the ACT.
Local swimmers made the most of the event by drawing on Barclay’s national coaching experience.
All swimmers involved picked up some great tips and hints for how to improve their performance in the water.
The day was topped off with a nutritional session that was delivered by Young’s own Sharon Richens’ from Concept Rehab which emphasised the importance of fueling and hydrating properly for endurance sports.
The day was broken up with a wonderful healthy lunch for participants that was sponsored by Twomey’s.
