Two games of fours were played on the Number one green in front of a crowd of spectators including members of Young WBC and visitors from both Boorowa and Grenfell and a couple from Harden.
The game started with Boorowa/Grenfell going ahead but Young started to catch up and gradually went ahead with the combined score ending up 32 to 42 with Young ahead.
The Young team was heartily congratulated but they are not letting their success go to their head’s.
They have another game to play on Thursday February 23 which will be against Cootamundra Country Club at Cootamundra but winning their game on Tuesday gives the team more confidence.
A return Boorowa/Grenfell verse Young pennants match will be played on Tuesday February 28.
