A 31-year-old man from Young has lost control of his car and crashed into a tree outside the caravan park this morning.

According to police at about 11.15 am a 31-year-old Young man has turned into William Street from Elizabeth Street, lost control of his vehicle and veered onto the incorrect side of the road.
The vehicle then mounted the gutter and collided with a tree outside the caravan park.
The 31-year-old man was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being conveyed to Young District Hospital.
The man suffered non-life threatening chest injuries.
Police are awaiting blood alcohol results.
Veteran Young ambulance officer Stephen Pollard said that the man removed himself from the car when ambulance officers arrived on the scene.
“A 31-year-old male left the road in William Street near the intersection of McCleary Avenue, the car struck a tree,” Mr Pollard said.
“He was transported to Young Hospital with minor injuries for observation.”
