The Mini Roos kick-off program will be run at St Mary's during PE lessons for all year 3-6 students.
The program will introduce boys and girls to the fundamental skills of soccer across through a range of fun and engaging game-based activities.
St Mary's Primary School PE teacher Amy Ryals said the school is excited about this program and others that focus on sport and fitness for students.
"We are so blessed to be given the Sporting Schools Grant once again this year, and the school has planned activities around games and sports we know our children will love to be involved in,” she said.
“The girls love this program just as much as the boys.”
Mrs Ryals said she understands getting high-quality coaches to the school gives the students the best chance of improving their skills and application to sport.
"As an ex-State League Netball player for Manly Warringah, I know how great it is to teach children the sport you are passionate about and love,” she said.
“Through the Sporting Schools grant, this can be made possible by getting specific coaches in to teach the children in their chosen sport.
"It's great to have these professional coaches come to regional schools to give the children a chance to be coached by a high-profile ex-player.
“There are so many wonderful sporting opportunities to be had at St Mary's.”
Mr Gray has been a women's football coach for over 10 years, he is currently Country NSW assistant coach for under 14 girls and has been a Sydney FC Regional coach.
“I am originally from Scotland and I have been living in Australia for the past nine years; I have a passion for coaching the sport I grew up playing,” he said.
"I enjoy watching the children learn how to play whilst still enjoying themselves and to let the children learn to play in the Sydney FC way. "I trust over the next four weeks the children at St Mary's will have a great time and learn some new skills and valuable information along the way."
