Facing his first offence for mid-range PCA charges, 42-year-old Pitt represented himself as he plead guilty in front of Magistrate Peter Dare SC.
According to police, about 10.42 am on February 15, 2017 the accused was driving along Albury Street in Harden when he was stopped at a stationary random breath testing site.
Police said Pitt was submitted to a breath test that returned a positive result.
According to police they observed that the accused’s eyes were bloodshot and his breath smelt strongly of alcohol. Pitt advised officers that he had had a big night before and had a schooner for breakfast that morning. Police said he appeared to be well affected by alcohol.
The accused was arrested and taken to Harden Police Station where he was submitted to a breath analysis that returned a result of 0.096 g of alcohol in 210 L of breath.
