The Cherrypickers won the match 30 – 18.
“The coach was really happy with how they played,” Cherrypickers Rugby League Football Club’s Robert Bush said.
“They went really well.”
The team faced Cowra last weekend in Cowra where they also picked up a win, making this the team’s second win of the pre-season and putting the team in a good position going into the start of the official 2017 season on April 2.
The Cherrypickers will face off against Gundagai in the first round of the Group Nine competition on April 2.
“It’ll be tough, they’re the benchmark,” Bush said.
Despite a few players missing the game last Saturday against Tuggeranong due to injury Bush has said the team will be in full health and ready and raring to go when they take on the tough Gundagai side.
