Young will be amongst the first to see 8 Ball on his current tour.
Aitken will be the opening act at the Clifton House and Gardens venue this Sunday night.
8 Ball has not played in Young before and is happy to be opening a new venue.
"I am very excited to play Young for the very first time. It has been a town that I have wanted to visit and perform at for a very long time," he said.
"Clifton House and Gardens is a gorgeous new venue.
“A local Young country singer mate of mine, Luke Dickens told me about the place and mine will be the first musical event they have ever had.
"It really is an honour for me to be the first musical act there and I hope that this gig helps to put the place on the map and get the locals excited to visit."
Aitken has made nine albums to date.
"My latest release self titled, 8 Ball Aitken is out now in all good record stores on CD,” he said.
“It is also available on iTunes, and vinyl record from my website.
"The warm sound of vinyl is coming back into fashion for true music lovers who want to hear the best quality sounding audio available."
Aitken said he hopes his fusion of swampy blues and alternative non-twangy country gets locals on their feet and dancing.
"I have been lucky enough to perform with many of my musical heroes in America and now I am back home in Australia and launching my ‘Best of’ album on the Blazing Blues Australia tour," he said.
"I have lived and toured in the USA for the last five years. Nashville, Tennessee and Austin, Texas were my hometowns during that time. All those deep South influences have rubbed off on my music.
"My gigs are quite interactive and light-hearted. People generally have a few drinks and a good time."
