The first round of the championships was held on Sunday with 23 players taking part with Liz Harding getting the best score of the day with a 74 nett which won her Division one.

Trish Miller won Division two with 76 nett and Joy McCormick was the Division three winner with 77 nett.
Annette Alexander, Joy McCormick and the Lady Golfers donated the vouchers.
Ball comp winners were Liz, Michele Blizzard (75), Ros Anderson (75), Trish, Lorraine Regan (77), Joy and Leanne Slater (77).
The nearest the pins in their respective grades were Michele Blizzard (16th), Noela Hardman (7th) and Joy McCormick (13th).
Ros Anderson won the putting on a countback from Liz Harding both only needing 29 putts in their round.
The leaders after the first round in Division one are Liz Harding and Helen Spencer both returning 87.
Ros Anderson and Leanne Slater are next both having returned 92.
In Division two Noela Hardman leads the way with 100 closely followed by Trish Miller on 101 and Jan Broderick on 103.
The Division three championship always seems to create a lot of interest.
Defending champion Maureen Perkins had 112 to have a clear lead from Sheila Traynor (118) and Pammie McCloy (119).
On Wednesday a nice relaxing stableford was played with 14 ladies taking to the course.
There were two divisions with Sandra Holmes leading the Division one players home with 40 pts and Larraine Nicolls having 37 pts to win Division 2.
Ball comp winners were Sandra, Larraine, Betty Stanton (35) and Leanne Slater (33).
The Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds NTP on the 7th was won by Larraine Nicolls and the Keith Simmons Engineering drive and chip on the 13th was won by Sandra Holmes.
Tomorrow sees the second round of the championships with the final round to be played on Sunday.
