In a high quality game Damien established a good lead at 20–10 but six ends later Russell had leveled at 22–22. At 24–24 Damien scored four shots and went on to win 31–24.
The final Pennant games were played on Sunday. Grade-3 defeated Cootamundra Country Club 53–49. Ged Hardman lost to Ron Rosengreen 10–23, Cliff Traynor lost to Graham Davidson 13–17 and Kevin Porter defeated Mike Barber 30-9. Harden 56 defeated Young 48 in Grade-4. Mark Anderson defeated Terry Ricketts 24–17, Colin Stokell lost to Tom Apps 13–19 and Peter Slater lost to Rod James 11–20. In Grade-5 Young defeated Quandialla 61–60. Bob Ruhl defeated Bevan McAlister 26–14, Mark Brownlie defeated Brian Piefke 17–13 and Kevin Bryant lost to John Priestley 18–33. The Stockinbingal Grade-7 side completed the season undefeated when they beat Bribbaree–Young 77–62.
