Donges SUPA IGA Young has been named the Meat Department of the Year for NSW/ACT at the Retail Excellence Awards held in Sydney on March 31.

Manager Wendy Silk said she was very proud of the meat department staff.
"This is the second year that we have won the award," she said. We employ six butchers, with meat cut fresh every day, our mince is also made fresh every day. We buy full body beef, lamb and pork sourced from the local area. Sausages are made fresh every day, and we supply over 600kg of sausages to customers, sporting clubs, schools, and community groups every week."
Mrs Silk said they also now offer a range of gluten-free products for those with dietary restrictions.
"This range includes chicken Schnitzels, Crumbed lamb cutlets and crumbed gluten free sausages,” she said. "We will have fresh seafood available in store Thursday April, 13 only. This will only be available for purchase on the day, and only available until sold out."
