Ashleigh Nicholson and Katrina Garlick say that they understand the damage cancer can do to individuals, families and communities.
"As two 15-year-old girls, many say we have not yet experienced the world, but we both know the damage cancer can do so we are hosting a high tea to raise funds for cancer research, " Katrina Garlick said.
"We have been greatly supported by the local community of Young, through donations towards our raffles, which will be drawn on the day.
"We aim to spread Hope into our local community and support research for cancer and we ask for your support in joining us for this event because cancer isn't contagious, but hope is."
Tickets of $10 can be purchased on the day or from The Bush Chemist, Boorowa Street Young.
