Country Women’s Association’s Young branch had its hands full when it played host and catered lunch for the Standard and Triumph Vintage Car Club of New South Wales Inc during their recent trip to Young.

Around 35 members of the Standard and Triumph Vintage Car Club of NSW Inc spent the weekend in Young taking in all the town has to offer including various local attractions.
On the Saturday the group visited the Lambing Flat Folk Museum witnessing some of Young’s history as they took in all of the museum’s exhibits, they took in the majesty, space and gardens at Carrington Park and for a little fun they stopped by Peter Kinslea’s model train exhibition.
On the Sunday the group traveled just out of Young to visit the iconic Chinaman’s Dam and the peace and tranquility that can only be found in the Chinese Gardens.
High Tea and Euchre Afternoon
Saturday April 29, Young’s Country Women’s Association Branch will be holding a High Tea and Euchre Afternoon in the Country Women’s Association rooms.
The High Tea and Euchre Afternoon will commence from 2.00 pm with an entry fee of $5.
With delicious homemade treats and plenty of fun games on the cards and of course socialising, it is expected to be a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Attendees are asked to bring their prettiest cup, saucer and plate to be in the running for a prize.
The Country Women’s Association rooms are on Lovell Street in Young.
