Bayer representative Ross Henley and Frank Thompson of Thompson’s Rural Supplies presented the cheque to RDA volunteers Marg Pestell and Sheryl Matthews last week as a part of the iGiveLocal program.
RDA provides horse riding and carriage driving for anyone with a disability. This year 51 participants are attending the centre.
The centre has 10 horses and is unfunded, with only 22 volunteers working to run the centre and raise all funds required for the horses. Young RDA said the $500 donation is greatly appreciated and will assist with ongoing expenses.
