Tanika Silk started the luck off with an intercept 50 metres out from the try line and powering her way to score her first try of the season, which helped pump the girls up for the game ahead.
Going out into the second half, the girls went out strong and were able to demonstrate that they can move the ball well, spreading to the wings and maximising on the mistakes of the Tumbarumba girls.
A simple lapse in defence allowed Tumbarumba to score, however this made the Cherryettes more determined to complete and get some more points on the board. The final score being 20-4 Cherryettes away.
Try scorers: Tanika Silk, Laura Eastalke, Ally Smith and Bridget Maloney, two goals to Laura Eastlake. Elevations Resturant Players player: Lucy Jones.
