St Mary’s spokeswoman Leonne Challen said the day is designed to be a non-competitive fun day aimed at including all students of every age, ability and experience level.
“This year we had 39 teams enter - our highest number to date,” she said.
“We had teams entered from St Mary's, Young North, Trinity, Murrumburrah, Sacred Heart, Cootamundra and for the first year the New Madinah College.
“This year we did not keep score which added a fun and relaxed component to the games, it was truly an amazing atmosphere with over 400 children laughing and enjoying the day.”
Mrs Challen said the St Mary's Community Council were thankful for the help of Paul Cameron and the outstanding referees from Hennessy Catholic College who showed tremendous spirit and leadership in the way they interacted with the students and conducted themselves on the day.
