Acting Inspector Kristin Marshall from Young Police Station said that the truck had collided with a maroon Ford sedan driving in front of the heavy vehicle but police were investigating who was at fault in the accident.
Acting inspector Marshall said that there were no injuries.
NSW Fire and Rescue and the Boara New South Wales Rural Fire Service responded to the call and were assisting in the clean up.
The Temora Road remained partially closed until the truck was removed later on Thursday afternoon.
The position and damage to the truck made it a difficult job for emergency services to disconnect fuel lines as a preventative measure.
Onlookers were surprised that both the driver of the truck and the passengers of the vehicle all walked away from the accident with the amount of damage the truck sustained in the collision.
