Young Turf Club are off to the races this Saturday

Young Turf Club will be holding the Young Cup race meeting this Saturday at the Toompang Racecourse with a full afternoon of racing action on and off the track.

The event includes a six race programme that will include the 2017 Young Hotel, South West Slopes Credit Union Young Cup.

Once again Young Turf Club will be providing a lucrative purse in prize money for the annual event that continues to attract trainers from throughout the state, especially from the Western Districts and the Riverina.

On top of the big purse winners of feature races are also battling it out for an array of trophies, cups and ribbons for all three placegetters together with a massive hamper that has kindly been provided by Poppas Fudge and Jam Factory.

Once again Young Turf Club will be offering top class amenities. The Lions Club barbeque will be on hand along with Pizza Oven as well as coffee and bar facilities and an ice cream vendor for racegoers with a sweet tooth.

The highly contested fashions in the field will be held again with the best dressed lady to be awarded a voucher kindly donated by The Loft and the best dressed gent will win a voucher from Bruce’s Mensland.

Friday night the Young Turf Club will host a pre-race dinner at Elevations Restaurant where guests will be treated to a speech from former Rugby League great turned Western Region trainer Terry Fahey.
