Sunday, the Clover Leigh pennant team travelled to Bigga for a matchplay event with the Boorowa team. Boorowa won two matches and Clover Leigh won two but forfeited the fifth match. Point score for the pennant stands at Bigga 10 points, Boorowa six points, Clover Leigh four points and Binalong still in the starting block.
The concurrent stableford event produced the 35 points for Bigga, 16 points for Binalong, six points for Boorowa and one point for Clover Leigh. Clover Leigh will host the second pennant match on June 4 following the 3-person Ambrose Vera’s Day competition on Saturday, June 3.
