The Under 16s Cherrypickers had a very tough game against an enthusiastic Tumut side but ended up with a 12-6 win. The first half going from end to end until Ned Evans from Young crashed over beside the posts with Lucas converting the kick to make it 6 nil. five minutes before half time Tumut put a kick up to score in the corner making it 6 all at half time.  In the second half Young crossed the line three times but had them all disallowed due to what the ref called forward passes but Young being the side they are they never gave up and finally Josh Baker scored and Lucas converted making the final score 12-6.  Players player was Josh Baker.  Rematch of last years grand final this Saturday at 11am between Young and Cootamundra make sure you don't miss what should be a great game of footy- Brad Pettit
