In the under 7s matches the Sharks took on the Panthers in what was a great game with with Xavier, Owen and Joe playing great in defence. Cayden and Oliver being were the top scorers but not without Braxdyn and Lincoln crossing the line as well. Man of the match went to Braxdyn Cross.

In the second game the Eels played the Broncos in what was a tough match for the Broncos with lots of good runs and tries. Tries went to Xavier Bourne (4), Will Gibson (1), Jimmy Smith (1) and Reiken New (1). Man of the match went to Reiken New. Eels player Noah had a fantastic game with his skills improving every week. Tries scored went to Aidan Mesa (2), Braith Anderson (6), and Zack Milne (1). Man of the match went to Noah Platt.

In the under 9s the Rabbitohs played the Storm with the Storm’s man of the match going to Nate Cullen for his tackling work, Shaun and Max also had a few good runs in the closely contested match. Tries went to Jesse Thorp (1), Max Anderson (1) and Shaun McAllister (1) who also converted 1 goal. The Rabbitohs Jack Woods, Lachlan Shea and Mick Magill-Orr played really well in defence. Riley Noakes and Jarryd Foster read plays like professionals and Hamish Hunter, Braydon Morgan and Rex Ravenhall all had strong runs. Man of the match was Jarryd Foster.

In the second game Manly took on the Raiders which was quite the spectacle with both teams giving the match their all but Manly showed that their hard work at training has been paying dividends with a great all round winning performance. Tries went to Lachlan Batnich (2), Harry Coddington (2) and Matt Remier. Man of match was Alexander Reynolds.

The Tigers took on the Roosters with the Tigers putting in a great effort. The best runs for the Tigers were made by Corben Bloor and Samuel Schilt. There was some fantastic tackling by Nate Wonson, Cooper Smith and Ashley Perkins. Man of the match went to Rhys Carnley.

In the second game the Bulldogs played the Dragons with the Doggies playing a great game with some excellent runs by Tyler, Billy. B and Lachlan. The rest of the team played really well in defence, especially Marcus. Man of the match went to Marcus Ashton.

This week YJRL are off to Boorowa for games against Harden/Boorowa. With the teams rivalry bringing out the best in both clubs the games are expected to be highly entertaining.

Games start early due to Boorowa having a big day of senior sport on the fields after the junior matches. 

Under 6s, Under 7s, Under 8s as well as Under 9s tag and Under 11s tag have two games.

YJRL as that everyone keep the great spirits rolling this weekend with plenty of Pickers in attendance and have another successful day.
