The Hilltops Hub held its first ever Walk in Wardrobe Clothes Swap in Harden on May 10 with so much success the event is coming to Young.

Held over two big days on Friday and Saturday June 23 and 24 at the Hilltops Hub on Campbell Street in Young. The event will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on Friday and from 8.30 am on Saturday.
Community members are invited to bring along up to five articles of clothing, jewelry or accessories that are in good condition and swap them for items in the Hilltops Hub’s large quality collection.
In addition to the swap people can purchase items on sale for only $2.
“The clothes swap is a great way to clean out your closet, refresh your wardrobe and save money,” Hilltops Hub manager Naomi Peters said.
The Hilltops Hub also holds regular programs including music and movement for little people ages 0-5 years of age, an open craft group every Friday morning from 10 am, a seniors computer group every Friday from 2 pm, Move, Groove, Meditate on Tuesday evenings from 5.15 pm and much more.

The newly named Hilltops Hub recently received a Stronger Communities Grant to allow the organisation to re-model its outside space.
The planned work includes a deck area, meeting space, soft fall and cubby house for children.
The organisation is also excited to announce they will be able to purchase new fencing for around the perimeter of the Hub.
