The Division one winner of the single stableford event played on Saturday was Marie Inwood with 36 points. A countback was required in Division two when Sharon Wilder and Libby Plumley both returned 37 points. Sharon was the winner of the countback. Sheila Traynor, who has been playing a bit more often, had the best score of the day with 38 points to win Division three.

Ball comp winners were Sheila (38), Carolyn Shaw (37), Sharon (37), Libby (37), Lavell Hardy (36) and Marie (36) on a countback from Larraine Nicolls. The Elegant Timber Shutters and Blinds NTP on the seventh was won by Sharon Wilder and Liz Harding won the Keith Simmons Engineering drive and chip on the 13th.Last week a number of ladies travelled to Cowra to compete in the annual tournament. Maureen Perkins won the Division three par event on Thursday and on Friday in the foursomes Noela Hardman and Penny Greaves won the Division two scratch. At the Tumbarumba tournament Leanne Slater was beaten on a countback in the Division one stableford event.
Tomorrow the event will be a single stableford with a medley event on Sunday. Wednesday’s event is the fourth round of the GNSW Medal.
Just a reminder that if you qualified for the Wirral Cup match play the first round must be completed by July 1.
