But Saints President Derek Mayhew believes the A-grade side can have a few more wins before the season finishes.
“We have played all the teams in the AFL Central West competition once, and we have one win,” he said.
“We have had a few close losses so far this season, and we nearly beat the Bathurst Bushranger Rebels, who are one of the top sides, so we can match it with the best if we bring our best.
“We will re-set our goals after the bye rounds of July 1 and July 8 and look to start a winning run home from July 15.”
Mr Mayhew said he has been impressed with new playing Coach Brad McKinnon.
“He has been good for the club; he is an impressive young man,” he said.
“He’s had a look at all the opposition teams play now so he has better ideas on game plans and we will get a few more wins before the end of the season. We haven't had our best squad available all year, but I still think we are a chance to play finals if we get behind Brad.”
Mr Mayhew congratulated McKinnon and Cameron Elsley on selection in Central West’s representative team and BJ Harmer on making the 17s Central West team.
