While the weather was perfect winter, not all the golf was of the same calibre.
However, winning with a score of 37 points was George Gerrard. George, also, unsurprisingly, took out the nearest the pin with 530 centimetres on the seventh.
No gobbles found on the cards, not even for ready money, but a birdie to Peter Freck on the tenth.
The matchplay competition entries are now closed, unless you want to submit your name along with a late note to the captain.
A draw will be duly conducted at the earliest.
Next Saturday will be the monthly medal stroke competition for July, commencing at 10 am.
On Sunday, a Clover Leigh team will travel to Boorowa for the final round of the South West small clubs pennant match.
Bigga will contest Boorowa for the pennant, while Binalong and Clover Leigh will slug it out for the wooden-spoon ignominy.
