The regional finals of the men’s Keno Fourball Championship were held on Sunday at Young Golf Club, with Stuart Norton and Sam Langford now heading off to state to compete.

Norton and Langford will be travelling to Bonville after they won the day with +9 in the par event.
Darcy Whinam and Gary Anderson came in second with a solid score of +7 and the pair have earned themselves the position of reserves for the state championships.
The club wishes to thank Grant Harding who looked after Sunday’s clubhouse duties.
On Saturday at the golf club David Hamblin and Hamblin's Amcal Pharmacy sponsored the Fourball event.
John Powderly and Todd Shipton combined very well to score 47 stableford points for first place.
On 45 points in second place were Craig Watson and Peter Doherty who filled that position on a countback from Steve Haughey and Darcy Whinam.
Next Saturday’s event is a single event sponsored by Steve, Geoff and Janelle Connelly from Connelly’s Office National.
Sunday’s event will be a medley stableford/ball sweepstakes.
By now all members should have received their membership renewal notices.
The appropriate payment must be made at the Young Services Club.
